I saw this cute little packaged sunscreen everywhere and decided to try this brand out ! Well other factors did contribute like it's a Korean skincare brand, and their sight of seeing skincare as a whole , of their purge to press the reset on our skincare routines and make this skincare industry more transparent ! Let's start talking about the sunscreen ! .

The beet shield is a gentle, antioxidants rich fluid to help protect our skin from the brightest star! It protects our skin from the environmental stressors plus is lightweight and does not cause a white caste ! Hurray! It has beet root extracts to protect u from radicals so that you don't turn beet-red! Beet root actually works as an anti-aging ingredient and reduces pigmentation plus blemishes! This root extract is truly an #underdog! The second most important ingredient is " Allantoin" which helps in soothing and the skin and relieves skin irritation ! It also has Vitamin C, EGCG, Resveratrol which helps fight free radicals and environmental stressors ! They do use alcohol in the form of ethanol in their formulation to stabilize the UV filters , for light weight formulation and as a solvent! People with rosacea should consult a dermatologist before using it !

My thoughts : Even though it contains ethanol the formula is not at all drying , but hydrating and leaves a sheen on your skin! I have been using it constantly since a month and almost up with the first bottle ! I have already repurchased it! I love it! I use it under makeup as well and it sits perfectly well and does not come out! It is in a form of a gel fluid so I do think you need a moisturizer before using the sunscreen ! But, I love love love love it ! .
