Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief is one of the finest moisturizers for the day I have ever tried! This product personally is very close to me since it was the very first moisturizer I ever purchased. Its been more than a year and its still a constant in my daytime skincare routine. It has a gel like texture which is very lightweight for the skin and helps isn improving skin's natural moisture retention ability for a very long lasting hydration. It penetrates deep into the skin instantly and does not feel heavy on the skin. It goes deep into stratum corneum (layer of the skin) with as fast relief for prolonged hydration. It also have various sugar contents like trehalose and sorbitol that maximizes the skin's ability to retain moisture from the environment (how cool :)).
The hydrolyzed extensin gives skin a protective skin coat even when you are travelling and having varying temperatures. I use this product because it is highly lightweight and that is what I need during the daytime (the heat in Florida just makes you sweat all the time). It sits well beneath my primer and BB/CC creams for everyday use. You just need to apply the tiniest amount on your skin and it will feel hydrated. I love the baby pink color which the gel has, it is extremely soothing and has a pleasant smell (just in the right amount nothing too much). Also, the smell doesn't stick around after you have applied it. So, it works for people who don't want smell in their products as well. Also, a lot of substitues are available if one wants to try it, like the Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate and also the Moisture Surge Face spray. I would dfinetly repurchase the product. Also, its a cool idea to pick up skincare during sales @sephoraand @ultabeauty !
